Sheet Set Manager streamlines the creation of an x-reference, viewport, and view for that viewport by allowing you to place a named view on a sheet. This is especially handy when the named views are already created. as in the REVISIONS.dwg where we store and update all revision notes, and engineering seals. With one quick set of mouse moves, you can insert the named view into its preset location on the title block.

- In Sheet List Tab
- Right Click on Sheet Name (for instance Site Plan)
- Select 'Open'
- Set a no-plot layer current (for instance B-PLOT-BORDER)
- Add Location to Model Views tab.
- In Sheet Set Manager

View Orientation Issues
- D-view for viewports If you never change the UCS from World, then you will never be confused about which way is north. That way, all x-refs of a project will always stack on top of eachother and all other x-refs will stack in some standard relationship to that project and to each other.
- To rotate a view without changing the UCS
- From Paper space
- Double click inside the viewport to switch to model space
- Type dview
- Press Enter twice
- Type tw
- Type the rotation angle in degrees
- Press Enter twice
- To change the cursor back to horizontal ortho
- Type snapang
- Type in an angle equal to 90 minus the dview angle
- Press Enter

- Double click inside that viewport to enter model space
