Move a pipe from one structure to another (or how to move a storm pipe across the road)
- Highlight the pipe near the end you want to move
- Right click and select "Disconnect from Part"
- Click on the structure at that end
- Highlight the pipe again at the same end
- Right click and select "Connect to Part"
- Click on the structure across the road.
- That's it. Repeat for the other end.
Reposition a structure with its connected pipes
- Click on the structure to highlight it
- Click on the center grip
- Move the structure to its new location (use snaps)
- Click to place structure in its new position
- Inverts remain the same, Rim adjusts to its associated surface and slopes and pipe length change automatically in labels and tables.
Insert new structure in an existing pipe run
- From Top Menu>Pipes>Edit Pipe Network
- Select the pipe where you want to insert the structure
- Pipe Network Editor Dialog box opens
- Select Structure type
- Select "Structures only"
- Click where you want to insert the structure
- Enter or Esc to close Editor
- Move one pipe from existing to inserted structure (see 1 above)
- Reopen Network Dialog box (1-3)
- Select pipe type and size
- Select "Pipes Only"
- Click near the beginning structure and click near the end structure
- Close Pipe Network Editor Dialog Box
- Edit pipes for properties
